Students from Fairhaven High School's Media Production program were nominated to win national production awards for the excellence work in making videos.

On September 12, 2016, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced the nominees for the National Production awards. Fairhaven High School is pretty excited to be nominated for THREE of these awards this year, each in separate categories. This is following last years 5 New England Regional Emmy Awards for them. The categories that these students videos will be in is Music Video, Video Essay, and Writing.

The National Student Production Awards include 23 programming and craft categories. Student honorees will receive a certificate from NATAS and a crystal pillar award with the Emmy logo presented to the school that wins.

Winners will be announced October 4th at Newseum in Washington, DC.
