A man is revived by Fairhaven emergency personnel after suffering a heroin overdose.

Police and Paramedics responded to the overdose at 2:30pm Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of the Southcoast Urgent Care Center on Mill Road.

Upon arrival, a 38-year-old Maine man was found unconscious in the passenger seat of a car. Deputy Fire Chief Todd Correia says it appears the man originally overdosed in the Fairhaven K-Mart parking lot before a friend drove hime to the Southcoast Urgent Care Center.

The man was revived from his overdose state with Narcan. He was transported to St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford where he's listed in stable condition.
