Getty Images

It was a crash between a motorcycle and a Dodge sedan on Route 6 in Fairhaven this morning, and police say the biker had a cup of coffee between his knees at the time.   27-year-old Jeremy Peasley of Fairhaven was ticketed for impeded operation, and for wearing a helmet that is not approved by the state DOT.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. at Sconticut Neck Road and Route 6.  Police are not sure if the motorcycle or the Dodge ran a red light.  Peasley was slightly injured, but wasn’t taken to the hospital.
