Facebook Is No Place For Politics

I stole this from my Facebook friend (and college buddy), Matt Friedman of the PR firm Tanner Friedman. I couldn't agree more. This pretty much sums it up.

"Dear Facebook Political Zealot - You have eclipsed "Mondays suck/Fridays rock" person as the most annoying and predictable type of poster. You have yet to sway a single Facebook friend, yet you continue to flood our feeds with your partisan posts, links and memes. We get it - your party is always spot-on, the other guys lie and are horrible for America. I would defriend you but I otherwise like you and don't want to miss out on real things happening in your life that you would only post here. So, please, do us all a favor and go to the "About" section of your timeline, list your preference under "Political Views" and leave it at that."

I'm on the verge of de-friending about 25% of my friends until after election day.
