Exciting New Plans Coming to Wareham

A possible museum, welcome center, music venue, and event space at a historic spot in Wareham.

According to Wicked Local Wareham, the site of the old Tremont Nail property could be home to a brand new entertainment complex which would include cafes, store fronts, a music and event space and museum.

In the Wicked Local Wareham article, they say, "The ideas for the unused mill site started last December and came to a fruition point on Wednesday night when a “project team” led by architecture and community design firm, Union Studios, laid out a comprehensive, but flexible short term and long term plan for the site. The main goal of the entire redevelopment project is to preserve the history and make the property productive again, in more modern terms.”

I've got a laundry list of shops, cafes,restaurants and event ideas I'd love to see come to this historic space in Wareham, where do I begin?!  We will keep you up to date on this project as we learn more :)
