Santa Sightings 5K Race

Come and join us at the Santa Sightings 5K Race for a fun filled day with family and friends! This event is to benefit The New Bedford Cultural Commission and The Southcoast YMCA.

This year we want to bring great attention to the city of New Bedford and have 14,000 Santa's in the event! It would set the record for the most Santa's in one place at one time! Every participant 13 and over receives a Santa Suit, youth receive a Santa Hat and a bronze medal

Something new this year for children 6 and under and 7-12, we will be having the youth run or walk for fun!

Date and Time

This fun time will begin on Dec. 14, at 11:00 A.M.

Venue

This event is a 5k and will start and finish at the New Bedford City Hall, it can be located at 133 William Street, New Bedford, Mass.

Tickets

Every participant is encouraged to bring a gift for Gifts to Give of New Bedford

The registration fee is $27.00 until September 16, 2014 at 12:00 a.m.; $29.00 from September 16, 2014, 12:01a.m. to October 31, 2014 at 12:00 a.m.; $32.00 from October 31, 2014 at 12:01 a.m. to November 30, 2014 12:00 a.m.; and $35.00 November 30, 2014 at 12:01 a.m. to December 11, 2014 and day of race.

Youth race 6 and under 100 Yard Dash and 7 – 12 1/2 Mile Run:

Youth 6 and under are free, and 7 – 12 are $10.00
