Her story moved the Southcoast 3 months ago. Now, there’s been a major fundraiser set up for Amy Viegas, the Dartmouth mom who suffered a brain hemorrhage 10 days after giving birth to her new baby. Since that horrible day, Amy’s husband Brian has been unable to work as he juggles a newborn baby, a toddler, and visiting his wife who remains hospitalized in Boston. This local, Dartmouth family really needs the help of their community right now.
It’s happening on Saturday night, November 2nd, at the Sociedade Cultural Acoriana, 217 South Main Street in Fall River. A delicious dinner will be served.
