A hot day got heated at Patriots training camp.

Two Patriots players had to be pulled off of each other after getting into a fight on the training field this afternoon...and they were ultimately kicked out of practice.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman and cornerback Stephon Gilmore may not be enjoying being teammates just yet.

Earlier this afternoon at Patriots training camp, the pair exchanged words after a play.

Edelman reportedly got in Gilmore's face and Gilmore responded by shoving Edelman.

As you can see from these photos of the morning practice, the two ended up wrestling to the ground and had to be pulled apart by staff and other team members. Both players loss their helmets in the fight.

They were both ejected from practice by Coach Bill Belichick.
