Durfee Walkout Cancelled After School Offers Compromise

Durfee students are now saying there will be no walkout this afternoon after administrators offered a compromise to deal with the temperature levels at the Fall River school. The remaining school days will have a 12:00 dismissal...shortening the day by more than 2 1/2 hours. Durfee students rejoiced on Twitter.

All of the students, however, weren't satisfied.

Windows inside the school were not made to open, and the central air conditioning wasn't scheduled for repair until mid summer.
