FALL RIVER - Wednesday classes have been canceled at B.M.C. Durfee High School in Fall River after a pipe burst early this morning.

The flooding triggered the school's alarm at around 3 a.m.

Fire officials say the majority of the damage is in the science wing of the school, and that it is extensive.

Officials say part of the school's kitchen was damaged, also, but that damage was kept to a minimum.
