Dunkin’ Donuts Will Phase Out Styrofoam Cups
Dunkin’ Donuts sells millions of cups of coffee everyday. When you order a medium or large size, it comes in a Styrofoam cup.
That will all change in time, but don’t expect to see the replacement cups anytime soon. Dunkin’ says it will be using double-walled paper cups, and they will be available in all it’s stores within the next two to three years.
they may have to revise that plan for some of it’s shops. Beginning in December of this year, Brookline, Mass. is banning Styrofoam products for the sake of the environment. Freeport, Maine has also passed a Styrofoam ban that takes effect soon.
