NEW BEDFORD—A Dorchester man was arrested and charged with trafficking Fentanyl on Saturday morning around 11:30 a.m.

Members of the New Bedford Police Narcotics Unit stopped the vehicle in the area of Tinkham Street and North Front Street as a result of an investigation. Detectives found 77 grams of Fentanyl, 8.4 grams of cocaine and $312 in cash.

Arrested and charged was Junior Rios Rivera, 36, of 240 Quincy Street, Dorchester. He is charged with trafficking in Fentanyl, and possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (cocaine).
