DARTMOUTH - MA

A Dachshund and black cat were present at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church today to represent inclusion and to be a part of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi.

According to The Standard Times, "people carried or guided their furry friends for a morning blessing at the front of the church".

There was even a special blessing for the animals who are no longer with us. Most of us know the feeling of losing a beloved animal so it was amazing to see those feelings noticed at church, because let's face it, they become a part of our families.

Hope done
