I am Massachusetts born and raised. I've been in radio for more than 10 years and joined Fun 107 in 2010 after stops in Burlington, Vt. and Cape Cod. I love working on the air but enjoy working in creative services as well. When not on the radio, you can find me by the ocean. I love fishing and boating. If you can’t find me on the water, I'm probably out watching any Boston sports team. My favorite team to watch is the Boston Celtics.
I have been working in radio for 15 years, which seems crazy when I think about it! Born and raised in RI, I am definitely a New England girl having worked in Providence RI, Worcester MA, New London CT and now here in New Bedford! I absolutely love football, enjoy practicing and teaching anti-gravity yoga and in my free time I'm usually on my couch knitting (yep, like a little old lady) I'll also be getting married this May, so life is pretty great right now!
I started working at FUN 107 in August of 1996 as a broadcast technician, driving the FUN 107 truck and handing out prizes to listeners just like you. In 2001, I joined the FUN Morning Show and became the Morning Show Producer for J.R. & Sharon, left briefly in 2007 and returned to FUN 107 in 2009 to join J.R. and Michael Rock. Now, as one of your three favorite co-hosts of the FUN Morning Show, I am your typical lovable, huggable, slightly overweight funny guy who loves to make you laugh and get your day going every morning with Michael Rock and Loren Petisce! I live in the North Dartmouth area with my beautiful wife Deborah, and my two sons, John and Andrew.
Michael began his radio career in Boston as a 16 year old intern for "Rock and Roll Hall of Famer" Dale Dorman. He cracked the mic for the first time on his 18th birthday as a Freshman broadcaster at Syracuse University's legendary Z-89. Rock has hosted radio shows in Boston, Syracuse, Connecticut, and New Hampshire...and came to Fun 107 back in 1995. Michael has hung out with some of the world's biggest names including Taylor Swift, Tom Brady, Rihanna, Pedro Martinez, P!NK, NKOTB, LL Cool J, and Wyclef Jean
Hi there, I'm Loren. I grew up in nearby R.I. and spent my whole radio career there until 2014 when I got to FUN 107! I started out in 2004 as a traffic reporter, then I spent five years in Providence at the country station. I've been a big fan of FUN 107 for years, so when the opportunity to co-host mornings came up, I had to take it! When I'm not on the radio, I'm probably spending time with my cats, I have four! Two boys, Jack and Oliver, and two girls, Frances and Gracie! I'm a total animal lover
Thanks to roller skates, I'm here on Fun 107 with you!! My music background began in the summer of 1986, spinning the hits at the former "Hot Wheels" roller skating rink. Then in 1991 I joined the staff here at Fun 107. Its so easy to get out of bed each day and come to a job that is as much FUN as this one is, and its a pleasure to interact with you on a daily basis on the "Back In the Day Cafe", and on the Fun 107 night show. When i'm not at work, you can find me at Fenway Park, (well, maybe not as much this year), or at the Boston Garden cheering on the Celtics, or DJ'ing weddings, birthday parties, or any kind of event you can think of
It's great to be be back home at FUN 107. I will will be working along side you every day from 9 am- 2 pm., Playing your favorite songs and lets not forget The Back In The Day Cafe at 12. I started at FUN 107 as a baby DJ soon after we signed on the air. Over the years I've made many friends and now that I am back, I look forward to making many more. I love the South Coast and when I am not on the radio i like to spend time with friends and family
Hello South Coast! Born and raised in Massachusetts, I'm definitely a New Englander that has worked in Portsmouth, N.H., Medford-Boston, Mass., and now here in New Bedford. I'm a total geek and I always enjoy a great laugh, usually at my expense. I enjoy hanging with my dog Kodi and taking road trips whenever possible with her. I'm also a ham and like being in movies when I can. I've done background work in 'That's My Boy,' 'Grown Ups 2,' and most recently in 'Clear History' with Larry David
