Discovery Channel Cancels ‘Dirty Jobs’

After nearly a decade on the air, the show that highlighted the dirtiest jobs in the country is finally clocking out. Thanksgiving could have been better for Mike Rowe, and the 'Dirty Jobs' crew. He broke the sad news about the show being canceled over the holiday.

Rowe said in his blog post that the show remained true to form throughout the years, and that he is very disappointed. According to EW, the shows ratings had slumped in recent years.

You won't have to go far to hear from Mike Rowe on Discovery, however. He remains the narrator of Discovery's biggest show, 'Deadliest Catch'.
