This morning on the Rock and Fox Show, we were talking about the Jussie Smollett story and could not imagine he would create and then execute this fake attack because he wasn't happy with his current salary.

Since our show this morning, Jussie Smollett has turned himself into the police and was officially arrested, booked and is currently in custody. He's being charged with disorderly conduct for filing a false police report.

Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said this morning that he was, "angry that Jussie took advantage of the pain and anger of racism to advance his career and staged the attack to increase his salary from the TV show Empire."

If you missed it, here's the press conference from this morning with all of the details on the case so far.

Michael, Gazelle and I were all in agreement that if these charges are true, Jussie is not a stable person and has literally ruined his career. I mean, did he ask any of his close family and friends for their advice on this? Did he really think the brothers that he allegedly paid to attack him would keep quiet? Did he think about the poor victims in this world who really have experienced a homophobic and racially fueled attack?  If he had gotten away with this, how would he have slept at night?

I feel like this whole incident is just really, really sad, all of it.
