Detroit is taking caring for your pets to a whole new level!

According to Outside, Detroit's Metropolitan Airport has installed customized dog bathrooms funded by the airport and Delta Airlines. These bathrooms costing $75,000 include real grass, fire hydrants, and artificial rain showers to wash away liquid waste.

These bathrooms were made for service dogs who before were forced to go outside to do their business, which according to a passenger, could take up to 30 minutes or more. The bathrooms do have a downside though, as owners must take care of any solid waste left behind.

Seems like a pretty expensive addition if you ask me...I wonder if this is something our local airports such as Logan or T.F Green Airport, would be interested in?
