Designer Stella McCartney is making a fashion statement this October with a new bra dedicated to her mother.

McCartney is fighting for Breast Cancer Awareness this month with a range of pink bras for both breast cancer supporters and breast cancer survivors.

The first is the Alina Playing set, a bra and panty set in hot pink that supermodel Cara Delevingne models in the ad campaign.

The other is the Louise Listening bra named after her mother Linda Louise McCartney, who died of breast cancer in 1998.

This light pink, cotton and lace bra is designed for women recovering from a double mastectomy. The post-surgery compression bra is meant to offer comfort and support to women in recovery. As McCartney described it,

We wanted to bring something feminine and beautiful into a bra that is taboo,” Adding, “There are so many different emotions attached to the tragic realities of having had a double mastectomy, many cultures are unaccepting and terrible things happen to women both physically and emotionally. And we just wanted to make something that allows women undergoing this to have something to be proud of, something with no shame attached.”

The Louise Listening Bra will retail for $125 exclusively at stellamccartney.com beginning Oct. 1 and all proceeds will benefit the Hello Beautiful Foundation.
