Dead Celebrity’s Nude Picture Sells For 1.9 Million

A nude painting done in 1991 of actress Bea Arthur sold for 1.9 Million bucks. Bea, who starred in the "Golden GIrls" tv series posed back in 1991 for artist John Currin, who is known for his paintings of famous people in various states of undress. The aution was part of a big auction put on by Christie's auction house in New York. Can you believe that ANYONE would spend that much money for something like this?
