According to Southcoast today, Davy's Locker owner Jeffrey Dolinsky sold the building to GGK Realty LLC on Jan. 31. Mr.Kulpinski is named as the sole manager of GGK Realty in records from the office of the Secretary of the State and the Registry of Deeds.

The restaurant, located at 1480 E. Rodney French Blvd. in the city's South End, opened its doors in 1966 and has been one of the best views during dinner and drinks ever since. Its closure was announced in a Jan. 31 advertisement in The Standard-Times effective the same day.

An official with SeaFire declined comment beyond confirming that the Kulpinskis purchased Davy's. Dolinsky did not return two phone calls. No word on any name change or renovation. Lets just hope the tiki bar is still there!
