David Ortiz Will Address New England Tech Grads

David Ortiz is set to spend some time here in Southern New England over the next week.

According to ABC 6, Big Papi will be delivering the commencement speech to New England Tech grads.  The graduation ceremonies will take place at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, April 30.

The school will present Ortiz with his first honorary degree and he will also receive a doctor of humane letters that recognize his leadership and work to help children that face health challenges in New England and the Dominican Republic.

Ortiz will also be coming to Swansea for the UMass Dartmouth Center for Marketing Research 17th annual Celebrity/Scholarship Dinner which will be taking place at Venus De Milo tomorrow, April 26th
