Dartmouth Select Board Approves New Town Administrator

DARTMOUTH - The Dartmouth Select Board has named the Town's next administrator.

The board voted 4-1 Monday night to hire Shawn MacInnes to the post.

MacInnes is currently the municipal operations director in Yarmouth, where he has been employed by the Town for 21 years.

MacInnes was one of three final candidates for the position.

Negotiations on the terms of MacInnes' employment are still pending.

MacInnes will replace town administrator David Cressman, who retired in February.
