Dartmouth police are warning residents about an uptick in car break activity in town.

The DPD posted to Facebook on Monday a warning about recent car break ins in the South Dartmouth area.

They are also reminding residents to lock their vehicles, to avoid leaving valuables in their car and to activate their car alarms if they have one.

They are also asking residents to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
