Dartmouth Police Search For Suspect In Knife Point Robbery

Dartmouth Police are searching for a suspect following a knife point robbery Friday night.

Detective Kyle Costa says officers responded to the Dartmouth Shell, located at 831 State Rd., at approximately 10:13 p.m. regarding an armed robbery.

The male suspect allegedly threatened the clerk with a fishing-style knife with a red handle, before fleeing the scene with approximately $200 in cash from the drawer.

Costa says the suspect appears to be a heavy set white man in his early to mid 30's, between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 275 lbs.

He is described as being clean shaven and at was wearing glasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt with no logos, and gray sweatpants.
