Dartmouth Mom, Amy Viegas, Suffers Brain Hemorrhage Days After Giving Birth

Amy Viegas gave birth to her daughter, Abigail on July 9th. Just 10 days later, Amy suffered a brain hemorrhage and has undergone two emergency brain surgeries. Her husband, Brian remains by her side as she continues to fight at the Neuro ICU at Rhode Island Hospital. Brian has needed to take a leave of absence from his job in order to take care of his wife, son, and brand new baby girl.
