The nation's second-largest drugstore chain is making a move to prevent the loss of customers to Amazon, and make staying healthy easier. CVS has announced that it will make home deliveries of prescriptions, vitamins, allergy medicines and other household products.

According to their website, the Rhode Island-based chain will now make the deliveries from all of their 9800 locations. Most will be a soon as the next day. CVS also announced that it is expanding their same-day prescription deliveries to the Boston area, as well as four other major cities. It had only available in New York.

Customers can place their orders for the 1 to 2 day delivery by using the CVS App or by calling their local store. The cost is $4.99 per delivery.
