Cut-At-Thon to Benefit Food For Tots

One of the biggest donors to our Food For Tots Campaign is at it again.

Lilly Fagundes, owner of Hair In Motion Cosmetology Academy, is organizing a Cut-A-Thon for this weekend at her new location, 128 Union Street in New Bedford.

Lilly tells Fun 107 that 100 percent of the proceeds from Saturday's Cut-A-Thon will go directly to Food For Tots. In addition to the money raised by haircuts, Hair In Motion will also be donated all the money to SouthCoast Pediatrics for the following services:

• $25 Donation - Cut, blow dry & style.  Seven stylists available - walk-in or call ahead to schedule 774-526-0238.
• $50 Donation – Combined pedicure & manicure.  Annie & Nina will handle walk ins or you can call ahead and schedule at 617-941-2474
• $60 Donation – Massage  Anne Tremblay will be offering massages. Call ahead to schedule 774-328-2551.

Fun 107 listeners have helped raise $63,000 since April. The money will be used specifically to help Boston Children's Hospital doctors treat local children who need to go into the emergency room at St. Luke's Hospital.

Our goal for 2018 is $100,000. We'll be organizing our final Food For Tots night on November 15. It is a grand finale, with all of our previous Food For Tots restaurants participating. They'll each be donating 15 percent of their total sales for the day.
