You've certainly seen them on the shelves at the grocery store, and it's likely you've tasted more than one as well.   I'm talking about Cape Cod Potato Chips.

The Hyannis company that makes Cape Cod Potato Chips is owned by snack giant Snyder's-Lance, but the kettles have churned in the same Cape Cod town since the 1980 debut of the chips.   There are currently 18 varieties available including the classic, Sea Salt & Vinegar, Chef's Recipe Feta & Rosemary and Waffle Cut Farm Stand Ranch.

The lighthouse you see on every bag isn't just to remind us of the New England seashore, it's actually the Nauset Lighthouse in Eastham.   As a matter of fact, the chip company has sponsored efforts for the lighthouse preservation.
