NEW BEDFORD - A New Bedford man says he was robbed of his wallet while walking on County Street Thursday night.

The 20-year-old man told police he was walking near 58 County Street when he was approached by a man and a woman just after 10:30 p.m. Thursday. The victim said the male suspect displayed what appeared to be a knife while the female took the victim's wallet, containing cash and credit cards, out of his pocket.

The man is described as a white male, about 27 years old, with a slim build, about 5'9" tall, wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts. The woman is described as a light-skinned black female, about 35 years old, wearing a red t-shirt and blue shorts.

No injuries were reported.
