Imagine...coffee...powering cars!  It's not as crazy as you might think!

The old coffee ground that you throw away could actually help power your car!

According to KCRA-TV, Researchers from Lancaster University in the UK have figured out a cost effective and efficient process to turn coffee grounds into gas for your car. The process has been around for a while, but the process for extracting the oil from coffee grounds used to be expensive and long.

This new method only takes about ten minutes to complete, it is more friendly to the environment, and reduces the use of harmful chemicals.

While we are a little concerned about what the laws of supply/demand might do to the price of a medium regular coffee, it's entirely possible that America's CARS could be running on Dunkin sometime in the future. Fill'er up with hazelnut!
