After 20 years, a national brand that originated in Fall River is closing its doors.

"After 20 years of sharing my designs and dreams with you, I'm sad to say that this will be the last Corky Warehouse Sale, and we will be closing Corky & Company

There have been many tears shed about Corky & Company officially closing after 20 years of business. Kim Johnson Macomber took to Facebook and shared a heartfelt message to all her loyal customers.

"After 20 years of sharing my designs and dreams with you, I'm sad to say that this will be the last Corky Warehouse Sale, and we will be closing Corky & Company" wrote Kim, "I guess 'all good things must come to an end', but it still breaks my heart to close this chapter of my life".

Kim tells Fun 107, "It's very emotional for me...I'm a sentimental girl...I wish I could be more practical about it like Al (her husband) and say 'it's been a great 20 years, we did our best to keep it going, but it doesn't make financial sense in this economy.'"

Kim says that they are trying to sell some of the "intellectual property or license the name somehow...but it won't be Corky as we know it."

On a personal note, I am sorry to see Corky and Company go. When I think back on my daughter's younger years...she was always dressed in Corky. She was even a Corky "cover girl" at age 5.
