In a new attempt to give everyone within its network more convenient internet connection opportunities, Comcast is planning a big and somewhat questionable change.

The company is working on turning all of its home routers into mobile hot spots to allow their customers easier access to the web while at friends' houses or on the go. There has been a bit of backlash, though, as some customers are worried about having their private Wi-Fi systems be available for any person to use.

Comcast has addressed those fears and explained that this change is not strengthening the signals of these Wi-Fi systems so that strangers passing by can pick it up any better. While they can't guarantee that nothing out of the ordinary will happen with the new public access and there have been some professionals that believe high risk is there, the higher ups at Comcast believe the system will be successful.
