The Coast Guard is suspending it's search for three men with local ties. Carlos and Dylan Amaral of New Bedford, and Mario Fialho of Lakeville were reported missing Tuesday after they failed to return to port in Sandwich after a fishing trip in the 23-foot vessel "Dad Sea Cave."

The Coast Guard called off the search Thursday night, after combing the seas between Sandwich and Provincetown. Divers on Thursday turned up nothing after scouring an area off of Provincetown where an oil slick had been reported.

In a statement, Captain Richard Schultz, Commander of Sector Southeastern New England, says "It hits home anytime we are unable to find mariners who need help." Captain Schultz says the Coast Guard's thoughts and prayers are with families and friends of the three missing men.
