The girls photographed vandalizing the Cliff Walk in Newport last weekend have turned themselves in to police.

Newport Police gave credit to the public assistance the received after initially posting the vandals photo on Facebook.

They say 22-year-old Jocelyn Senecal and 22-year-old Jenna Senecal both of East Providence were both charged with one count of graffiti and one count of conspiracy. Both are misdemeanors.

The girls were processed and released and will appear in Newport District Court on December 13, 2017.

They also asked the public not to comment on their Facebook post about the vandals, since the first post with their photos received so many negative comments.
