Christine’s Coastal Wine Trail: Saltwater Farm Vineyard

Saltwater Farm Vineyard is located along the waters of Stonington, Connecticut. The winery is inside of a restored World War II-era airplane hangar and includes a mezzanine level Tasting Room that overlooks fifteen acres of vineyard. It even has a fully preserved 1800ft grass landing strip for small plans to land.
Saltwater is open for tastings every day but if you plan on taking a trip on Saturdays- make a reservation. Drop-in guests are not permitted on Saturdays and a reservation will help to ensure you have the best experience possible. You can make a reservation here.
Beyond serving up great wines, Saltwater Farm is one of Connecticut’s best picnic places! The staff have seen everything from cheese platters to complete lobster dinners on site and invite you to do the same.
