Christina Aguilera’s Album ‘Lotus’ Has A Disappointing Opening Week

The new album from Christina Aguilera dropped this week, and it had some lukewarm results, despite her success on 'The Voice'.

The Billboard 200 came out, and Christina Aguilera finishes up her debut week with 'Lotus' finishes up in the 7 spot, with 73,000 albums sold. Not quite what she was hoping for.

'Your Body' wasn't the single success that she was hoping for either. That peaked at the #34 spot on the charts. Unlike Christina, her 'Voice' co-star Adam Levine has seen a lot of success since 'The Voice' started. In the past 15 months, Maroon 5 has been in the #1 or #2 spot on the Hot 100 chart.
