When it comes to Greek yogurt, Chobani has a pretty good handle on the market. A minor set back has hit the company, and they are pulling some of their yogurts off store shelves.

ABC News reports that this is not a recall, but a quality issue with the product. They say that the products being removed only represents less than 5% of its total production.

So what products are being taken off the shelves? The ones with code 16-012 and expiration dates Sept. 11 to Oct. 7.

Chobani maintains that it wasn't a food safety issue. Customers were complaining about a funny taste, some saying it tasted like wine. Other signs of the funny yogurt was that the containers had swelled and bloated, and the yogurt wasn't the usual creamy consistency, but more like soup.

Chobani issued this statement on their official Facebook page:

There is nothing more important to us than the quality of our products. We're currently in the process of voluntarily removing and replacing some products from store shelves that did not meet our rigid quality standards.
