This Saturday is not just St Patrick's Day...it's also National Corn Dog Day. And you can celebrate with 50 cent corn dogs at Sonic!

For whatever reason National Corn Dog Day changes every year. And this year it happens to fall on St Patrick's Day...this Saturday!

Sure corn dogs are usually thought of as a sports food or a carnival food, but with all this snow there will clearly be no carnivals on the Southcoast for National Corn Dog Day.

But you can still get your hands on some deep fried deliciousness thanks to Sonic of Somerset!

Sonic is offering 50 cent corn dogs all day Saturday, at all of their locations.

Locally that means heading to Sonic of Somerset to take advantage of this tasty celebration.

National Corn Day Day was started back in 1992 by a couple of serious sports fans.

They apparently picked March as the month to celebrate because of the NCAA March Madness tournament and the popularity of corn dogs at sporting events.

The tie in totally makes sense, so celebrate National Corn Dog Day this Saturday at Sonic with 50 cent corn dogs!
