A Woman To Appear On The $10 Bill In 2020

The U.S. Department of the Treasury has announced that a woman will appear on the $10 bill.

The mystery woman will be determined soon and Treasury secretary, Jacob J. Lew, who selects the honoree, will make his decision by the end of this year. The new $10 bill will appear in 2020, which also marks the 100th anniversary that the 19th Amendment was passed, which granted women the right to vote.
