Carmen’s Bakey In New Bedford Set To Close After 37 Years

There is only a couple of more days left to get what is considered to be some of the best Portuguese sweetbread in New Bedford.

Carmen's Portuguese Bakery, located in the city’s South End at 478 Rivet Street is closing after 37 years in business.

Carmen's posted on Facebook that it will be closing its doors on Monday.
