Cape Cod Town Ranked 2nd Healthiest in the Country
A Cape Cod town was ranked 2nd in the nation as one of the healthiest places in Gallup and Healthway’s new Community Well-Being Rankings.
The town of Barnstable on Cape Cod with residents “busting with energy” according to boston.com. The town has earned top of the charts numbers in physical well-being, and social well-being, meaning residents show strong physical health and supportive relationships.
The Community Well-Being Rankings uses 5 different types of well-beings to make the list including purpose, social, financial, community, and physical well-beings. The only category Barnstable did not place in the top 5 was purpose, which includes daily motivation to achieve personal goals. The town came in 12th place.
