Cape Mother Dies Suddenly After Child Birth

A Cape Cod mother; Lee Mannillo, 41, of Pocasett, died suddenly from complications after giving birth to twin boys at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The boys are doing just fine, according to WCVB.

For 12 years Mannillo worked for Barnstable County as an environment coordinator with the Department of Health and Environment.

Visiting hours for Lee Mannillo are today from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home. A service is set for 10 a.m. Thursday also at the funeral home.

There is a memorial fund in place at the TD Bank in Pocassett for anyone who would like to make a donation.
