I was struggling with a major cold on the air this morning. It's my second cold since Thanksgiving...PLUS a stomach virus I had a couple of weeks ago. After the show, one of my co-workers told me that I need to start drinking vinegar to stay healthy. Vinegar???

She swears by it. She says she's been mixing a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with a cup of water every day for a year...and she hasn't gotten sick since. She also recommended eating ground cinnamon. She has she has 1/4 teaspoon in the morning, a 1/2 a teaspoon at lunch and a 1/4 teaspoon at night. She says that's supposed to help you decrease your stomach body fat. An article on livestrong.com supports her cinnamon claim.

It might time for a Stop and Shop run.
