Buttonwood Park Zoo Closed Today Due to Icy Conditions

With the warming temps, you might have wanted to get the little ones out to the zoo but Buttonwood Park Zoo will be closed today. 

We're all still working to dig out from the storm that slammed the Southcoast with freezing rain, sleet, then heavy snow. The icy conditions have made travel on secondary roads tricky all weekend and it's taking some businesses a little bit longer to dig out. Buttonwood Park Zoo annouced that they will be closed today, Monday, January 8 as they continue to treat the lot and prepare the zoo for guests.

In addition to the zoo being closed, Toe Jam Puppet Band will not be playing today but back at the Zoo next Monday!
