Brittany Murphy’s Father Not OK With Lifetime’s Biopic

Late actress Brittany Murphy's father was highly critical of Lifetime's TV-movie on the life of his daughter.A few weeks ago, I wrote about an upcoming biopic called The Brittany Murphy Story, that I was very excited to watch. However, Murphy's father Angelo Bertolotti spoke out against the project for a number of reasons, criticizing everything from the casting to the truth behind the story. He even said The Brittany Murphy Story was "unauthorized" by the family and was "hideous."

While the film may have been too low budget and not done well, it's a shame that a project with so much potential fell apart like this. Brittany Murphy was an amazing actress with an interesting life story that might have been great to see had it been done correctly.
