Outrage is a understatement with this story. Our friends from across the pond shock us with this. The winners of a Halloween costume contest held at a nightclub in Chester, England. made the front page of one of biggest papers in England? Why.. Because their costume is offensive to Americans. What could have been so offensive? Only a week after a Michigan woman posted pics of herself dressed up as a Boston Marathon victim.

How about dressing as the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, complete with images of flames shooting out of the buildings where the hijacked planes struck on Sept. 11, 2001.

According to the Sun, The women who sported the costumes, 19-year-old college students Amber Langford and Annie Collinge, received about $250 in gift cards as their prize. The University of Chester, where both of the women are enrolled, said in a statement that it “utterly condemn(s) the appalling photos which have been shared on social media.” Classy Great Britain. Classy.
