Britax is recalling many models and more than 200,000 child car seats.

It was determined that harness adjuster buttons on the car seat may stick and cause the shoulder straps to loosen.

According to the Huffington Post, several models are included in this recall such as the Advocate, Boulevard and Marathon ClickTight car seats, all made between Aug 1, 2014 and July 29. Although recalled, no incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with the problem.

The company learned about the issue after seeing a customer's Facebook post last month. Britax Child Safety Inc. estimates that only about one percent of the car seats involved in the recall have the problem. Nonetheless, Britax will notify customers affected by the recall and send them a lubricant that can be applied to the red harness adjuster button to fix the potential flaw.
