was named league MVP for the third time in his illustrious career. 

The 40-year-old secured 40 of the 50 total votes that were cast, becoming the oldest player ever to take home the honors.

Brady led the league in passing in 2017, throwing for 4,577 yards. He also completed 66 percent of his passes, throwing for 32 touchdowns and just eight interceptions.

The future Hall-of-Famer posted an impressive 102.8 passer rating, as well.

Brady won the award in 2007 and 2010 and will now attempt to become the first player since Kurt Warner in 1999 to win the Super Bowl in the same season in which he won the MVP.
