Tom Brady's legal team got themselves a small victory today, in their fight against the NFL and the 4-game suspension reimposed on the quarterback by the second circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals last week.

According to a NESN report, The NFLPA had requested a 14-day extension, as they plan their next step in filing an appeal of the appeal ruling on behalf of Brady and his team, and the court awarded the request today.

That means that Brady's legal team will now have until May 23 to officially file their appeal.

Brady has two options for his appeal. He could request that the entire second circuit hear the case or he could request that the case be passed on to the Supreme Court.
