New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady is locked in through his early 40's.

ESPN's Adam Schefter and Dianna Russini are reporting that the team and future Hall-of-Famer have agreed to a 2-year contract extension that will keep the All Pro in New England through 2019.

After talking candidly in the past about his desire to play well into his 40's, Brady is on his way to doing so. The 38-year-old's new extension will keep him in a Pats' jersey through the age of 42.

While it is unclear what amount of money wil be accompanying the 3-time Super Bowl MVP's new deal, he is set to make $15 million this coming season and $16 million the season after that.

While many players struggle to stay at the top of their game as they age, Brady has seemingly defied Father Time so far.

Last season, in his age 38 year, Brady tore up the league. The 4-time Super Bowl champ passed for 4,770 yards and 36 touchdowns while posting a 102.2 QB rating.
